Two juveniles arrested for Centerville middle school threats

Two juveniles were arrested for threatening social media posts that targeted Watts Middle School and its students, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Centerville City Schools contacted the sheriff’s office early Friday morning about a threat posted on social media.

Deputies went to a person of interest’s home in Washington Twp. and contacted the student and their parents. The juvenile was arrested later that day for the threat, according to the sheriff’s office.

On Sunday, a similar threatening post was shared on social media that targeted students.

Deputies identified another person of interest and went to juvenile’s Washington Twp. home. The juvenile was arrested, taken to the Juvenile Justice Center and booked on multiple charges.

It is not clear what the threats said or if the incidents were directly related.
