Three vehicles
were reported broken into in the 2000 block of Cincinnati-Dayton Road. According to police, the windows were smashed out of the vehicles. Several items were taken, including a black Victoria’s Secret purse containing credit cards, a Victoria’s Secret bag containing clothes, a flowered purse containing Social Security cards and other credit information, a black purse, Nikon camera, a laptop computer and $500 in cash.
May 9
Shots were fired at a blue Chevrolet Trailblazer in the 900 block of Eighth Avenue. According to police, holes from 9 mm bullets were found in the left rear quarter panel and left rear trim panel. No casings were recovered.
A bullet was fired at a building in the 200 block of North Breiel Boulevard. According to police, a bullet hole was found coming through one wall in a conference room and through a second wall into a hallway. No bullet was found. The shot may have been fired from a high-powered rifle, according to the report.
A purple 1999 Dodge Stratus was reported stolen in the 300 block of Aberdeen Drive.
A Jamie Foxx, Jay-Z and another CD were reportedly taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 1000 block of South Breiel Boulevard. According to police, a broken CD and flashlight were left by the thief on the floorboard.
A 2002 Oldsmobile was reportedly broken into in the 4000 block of Bonita Drive. According to the report, a woman’s purse, two Garmin GPS units, a power inverter, silver iPod and a Samsung cell phone were taken. The vehicle was not damaged.
A laptop was reported stolen in the 600 block of Lafayette Avenue.
Identity theft was reported in the 600 block of 16th Avenue. The female victim told police her identity was used in an accident report in Cincinnati.
A theft was reported in the 1600 block of Central Avenue. Police reported a Toshiba external hard drive, Xbox Elite with three games, a generic Vicodin prescription and $120 in cash were taken.
A cellphone was reported stolen from a backpack at Premiere Fitness at 401 S. Breiel Blvd.
A purse containing a cell phone, and various debit and credit cards was reported stolen at Premiere Fitness at 401 S. Breiel Blvd.
Someone popped out the lock of a vehicle parked in the 4000 block of Roosevelt Boulevard. According to the report, an unknown subject unscrewed the vehicle’s dashboard and removed a CD player, guitar foot pedal, phone charger, auxiliary cable and $5 cash from the car.
A burglary was reported in the 1900 block of Finley Street. Three shotguns were reported stolen.
May 10
A theft from two vehicles was reported in the 1000 block of Bonita Drive. According to the victim, an unknown subject stop a GPS and loose change from two vehicles parked in his driveway.
A GPS was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1000 block of Carriage Drive.
A shed was reportedly broken into in the 1000 block of Centennial Avenue. Police reported the lock was unscrewed from the wood doors. A Craftsman toolbox with several tools and a Schwinn 12-speed bicycle were reported stolen.
