It happened Saturday morning in the Shenandoah subdivision near Troy.
Aaron Smith, 29, was arrested yesterday and accused in the crime.
Deputies say he entered the home through an unlocked door, fought with the woman, and then fled. They said he dropped his cell phone in her back yard.
The house is just a few blocks away from his, according to sheriff's department.
Smith is charged with robbery and burglary.
His bond was set at $40,000 in Miami Municipal Court this morning.
The woman was not hurt.
