Several Xenia High School cheerleaders are being investigated after the district received reports the cheerleaders were drinking alcohol at an away football game Oct. 14, according to school officials.
The cheerleaders are being questioned about the alleged incident and if they are found to have consumed alcohol at the game, the district’s code of conduct will be enforced, officials said.
Disciplinary action if found in violation of the code of conduct could include suspension and/or expulsion, district officials said.
The incident was alleged to have happened while the Xenia Buccaneers visited West Carrollton High School.
