Much of that money was donated during the domestic violence awareness, prevention and advocacy group's recent Breaking the Cycle Benefit Breakfast.
Lori L. Halley, Artemis' director of marketing and development, said the money will be used partly to help expand the In Her Shoes domestic violence simulation program to teens.
"For us it is a godsend," she said. "It is a way for us to generate dollars we wouldn't have."

Artemis' annual budget is $1.4 million. About 85 percent of that money is used for programming for the center's 5,300 clients.
In March, Artemis won second place and $30,000 in Verizon's No More fundraising challenge.
It won an additional $25,000 from that company's HopeLine challenge that helps domestic violence organizations collect cell phones.
Artemis and YWCA Dayton were among the 191 organizations given a purple purse designed by actress Kerry Washington as part of the Allstate campaign to raise awareness and money.
In total, the Purple Purse Challenge raised $3.75 million.
The top 10 fund raisers in each of two divisions based on budget won cash prizes.
The top winner of each division won $100,000 from Allstate. The 10th place winner won $1,000.
YWCA raised $22,000 from 225 donors and came in 16th place in the first division, which included large organizations like top winner YWCA Evanston/North Shore.
That organization serves the northeastern Chicago metropolitan area and raised $489,723 during the month-long competition.
Even though it did not win a cash prize, Audrey Starr, YWCA Dayton's special events and communications manager, considers its campaign a success.
The YWCA Dayton’s #PassThePurseDYT campaign had a woman each day spread awareness about domestic violence and the challenge on social media.
Not only did it raise the funds, but Starr said the organization raised awareness.
YWCA Dayton is the only domestic violence shelter and crisis hotline in Montgomery and Preble counties.
"We got a lot of traffic that we would not have had otherwise," Starr said.
