** Tuesday’s meeting begins at 4:30 p.m. in a fourth-floor conference room, with the first hour devoted to setting the 2018 meeting calendar and discussing who will be board president and vice president for 2018. The leadership positions are important for a board that has been criticized for inefficiency and confusion at meetings.
At the normal 5:30 p.m. start time, the board will go to the first-floor board room to do the rest of the meeting.
** The school board is scheduled to vote whether to end its sponsorship of the Dayton Business Technology High School charter school. This dropout recovery school serves about 150 students.

** While there is nothing on the agenda addressing Rhonda Corr, the DPS superintendent remains on paid leave pending a pre-disciplinary hearing. It was at the DPS business meeting one month ago that the board voted to put Corr on administrative leave and promote Elizabeth Lolli to acting superintendent.
