The Ohio State Highway Patrol is asking for public help in the investigation of a Dec. 7 hit and run crash that killed a 76-year-old Lebanon man.

OSHP said that the crash happened at approximately 7:08 a.m. on northbound I-71 on the Jeremiah Morrow Bridge, or milepost 35 in Washington Township, Warren County.

Troopers found on investigation that a 2010 Ford Ranger, driven by James Clark, 76, collided with a light-colored SUV. The pickup lost control, went off the right side of the road and crashed into a concrete barrier, then traveled back across the road and crashing into a concrete barrier off the left side.

The pickup went across the road one more time and ran into the barrier on the right side of the highway.

The SUV continued to drive north and didn’t stop.

Clark was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene.

OSHP asked that anyone who has more information on the crash call the highway patrol’s Lebanon Post at 513-932-4444.
