On social media Dayton police said that police received a report of a shooting around 10 a.m. on I-75 around U.S. 35. Witnesses reportedly told police someone in a dark-colored sedan shot several rounds at another vehicle then fled north on the highway.
Officers said a man suffered a gunshot wound that was not life-threatening.
Police said this was not believed to be a random act, and detectives are investigating.
