Officials said the non-perishable goods will be hauled to the storm-ravaged areas of the Gulf Coast.
For the next two days, donations will be collected outside the Wal-Mart and Home Depot stores on Wilmington Pike in Sugarcreek Township. Officials are looking to collect cash and non-perishable goods.
Items that are needed the most are minor medical supplies, flash lights batteries, sunscreen, coldpacks, canned goods, mosquito repellent, bottled water, adult and children’s clothing suitable for warm weather, shoes and boots.
Officials also said diapers are needed.
Members of the Community Outreach Problem will be collecting donations Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
