A company that moved from Fairborn to West Carrollton as part of a $45 million expansion with nearly 200 new jobs is now hiring.
NuVasive Inc. has more than 30 job postings online for its Dayton-area operation, which it announced in late 2015 would move to Liberty Lane as part of an expansion that included 195 more jobs than the 97 it had on Herald Square in Greene County.
The San Diego-based global medical device company is looking to hire for positions ranging from materials handler and associate machinist to senior manufacturing engineer and senior buyer, according to the job postings.
The job postings include all three shifts and can be found at https://nuvasive.avature.net/careers/SearchJobs/?jobOffset=0.

When the move was announced in 2015, West Carrollton officials said the positions would have an average annual salary of $48,000, and the operation’s payroll is estimated at $14.2 million upon full employment in 2018.
The company had considered locations in Moraine, West Carrollton and Vandalia, as well as sites in Tennessee, Texas and overseas in a bidding war that involved state and local incentives.
