HVAC unit believed source of smoke at Kettering business

UPDATE @ 8:49 a.m.

A heating unit is believed to be the source of light smoke that billowed into the Panera Bread in Kettering this morning.

Firefighters were on the roof searching for the HVAC unit where the smoke was coming from.

The building, at 4110 Far Hills Ave., was briefly evacuated but no one was injured.

Crews in Kettering are responding to a report of smoke inside Panera Bread at the Town & Country Shopping Center, 4110 Far Hills Ave.

Light smoke was reported inside the building, which was evacuated around 8:15 a.m.
