Inmate escapes Mansfield Correctional Institution

Inmate James David Myers escaped the Mansfield Correction Institution sometime after the 9 p.m. count at the institution Wednesday, according to officials.

Myers was booked into the institution on kidnapping, rape, aggravated burglary, drug, weapons under disability and menacing by stalking offenses out of Summit County in December 2010.
