The 12-screen cinema complex will seat 1,560 and Theater No. 12, which this newspaper toured, has 183 electrically controlled reclining seats with attached, movable tables. Theater 12 also has large space between the front row and the screen for theater rental use such as corporate meetings, keynote speakers, baby showers, birthday parties, ladies’ nights, sip and paints or other uses, says Cinépolis service manager Jasmine Rogers.
The lobby of the Cinepolis has the usual movie-goer concession staples: popcorn, soda and candy. But, that’s where the usual ends. Cinépolis offers a menu of small bites, starters and entrees from Skinny Sweet Potato Fries to Gourmet Beef Sliders that you can take into the theater with you.
A bar with local craft beer, wine and signature cocktails is slated to open at the end of October. The drinks can go into the theater, too.
Cinépolis is located at 10251 Penny Lane next to Bar 145 Reset in Austin Landing.
