The Beavercreek City Schools Board of Education unanimously approved a tuition increase plan for the Beavercreek Preschool Center that will raise the cost per student by $560 over three years.

The increase will be phased in beginning in the fall. There will be a $190 increase in the 2017-2018 school year, another $190 in 2018-2019, and a $180 increase in 2019-2020. The final tuition will be $1,400 after the raises are finished.

Beavercreek City Schools has evaluated several factors to determine appropriate tuition rates including budget constraints, staffing requirements, and comparisons with similar preschool programs at school districts across the region.

“Our preschool program’s mission is to provide the best early education possible to all students and this tuition increase will allow us to continue doing so,” said Beavercreek City Schools Superintendent Paul Otten.
