Clark-Shawnee bond issue fails for new, renovated schools

The Clark-Shawnee bond issue failed Tuesday night.

The bond issue would have led to a new elementary school being built and renovations to Shawnee High School.

Superintendent Gregg Morris said the district plans to re-evaluate their options.

“We will move forward with our community and our board to find a path forward,” he said.

Morris said the aging facilities are still a hazard to the Clark-Shawnee learning environment.
