What happens with Roe v. Wade will largely depend on who President Trump nominates to the U.S. Supreme Court, Husted said.
He said he does not plan to attend the national right to life rally in Washington, D.C.
FIRST REPORT (Jan. 21)
Two state lawmakers have planned a local Dayton Right to Life march today in Kettering.
The march is billed as an event to “pray for those attending the March for Life in Washington.”
State Sen. Peggy Lehner, R-Kettering, and state Rep. Niraj Antani, R-Miami Twp., are reviving a march that used to be held annually in Kettering.
“On Tuesday we will revive Dayton’s pre-March for Life prayer rally so we can pray for those attending the march in Washington, D.C.,” Antani said Saturday. “With new pro-life leadership in the White House, we will pray for pro-life policies and that our society will foster a better culture that chooses life.”
The event will be outside of the region’s only abortion clinic at 1401 E. Stroop Road in Kettering.
Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted will be the keynote speaker at the event.
People wishing to attend are asked to RSVP to Kristen Smith at Kristen.Smith@ohiohouse.gov or (614) 466-6504.
