Road work to start in Centerville first week of July

Road improvement work is set to start on July 1 and last for two days along the west side of Sheehan Road between Social Row Road and the Centerville Bus Garage (south of Carrick Drive) and Paragon Road between Social Row Road and south of Mackenzie Court beginning in the 300 block.

The Randall Residence senior living facility of Centerville will be located at the intersection of Sheehan and West Social Row roads, at the former site of the Rabold Farm.

The 171,021-square-foot facility planned for Centerville will offer 84 quadplex condo-style apartments, 60 independent living apartments, 56 assisting living apartments and 42 memory support apartments.

The Randall Residence Development's contractor in cooperation with Washington Twp. and the city of Centerville will perform the road work. The work scheduled for July 1 and 2 will consist milling the roadway surface on both Paragon Road and the west side of Sheehan Road. The work scheduled for July 2 and 3 will consist of placing finished pavement on the milled surfaces. Construction during both phases will utilize flagging to maintain traffic, according to city officials.

Traffic striping will be replaced following the surface course completion.

If there is inclement weather, July 5 and 6 are back up dates.
