44th annual Americana Festival next week in Centerville

Centerville and Washington Twp.’s 44th annual Fourth of July celebration, the Americana Festival, will take place Tuesday.

The festival will start with a 5k run in the morning, hosted by Centerville Noon Optimist Club. Following the run, the Americana parade down Franklin Street will begin around 10 a.m.

The festival also includes a street fair with a range of activities, musical entertainment and food vendors.

The Miami Valley Hospital Fireworks show will begin around 10 p.m.
