Local entrepreneurs Earl Hatmaker and his wife, Megan Lee, have been successful in launching new ventures in the area over the past three years.

The couple run the Shakery Juice Bar, billed as “Dayton’s first mobile juice bar,” and Springboro-based Method Yoga, which offers a variety of yoga and meditation classes, along with specialized workshops.

The deal to renovate and refurbish Adventure Golf will be a challenge for the business duo, as the course has struggled over the past decade.

First up will be the relaunching with a new name, Your Adventure Golf, and some new amenities for the three-acre property.

“Our plan is to renovate and upgrade the course so that it is a fun and exciting place for both children and adults to enjoy,” Lee said.

The property is undergoing renovations, with the hopes of an Easter relaunch with more than $60,000 invested by the new owners.

Lee feels confident that with the right business management and new look, Your Adventure Golf will be once again a hit with the public.

“We are planning on hosting special themed events for groups, birthday parties, etc.,” she said “We are hoping to collaborate with other local businesses to create a more community feel.”
