Dr. Amol Soin appointed to Ohio medical board

Pain management specialist Amol Soin, M.D., has been appointed to the State Medical Board of Ohio for a five-year term that ends March 18, 2018.

The appointment was announced April 17 by Gov. John Kasich’s office.

Soin is medical director of The Ohio Pain Clinic and medical director for pain management at Greene Memorial Hospital and Soin Medical Center.

He also is president of the Ohio Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.

The board is the agency responsible for the licensure and discipline of Ohio physicians.
