4 apartments damaged by fire in Clayton

UPDATE @ 1:17 p.m.:

Firefighters said people living in four apartment units on Woolery Lane will be displaced following a fire this morning.

Investigators said they responded to the apartment building to find smoke coming from the building and eventually discovered the flames were in the ceiling areas of the complex.

No one was injured and a cause of the fire remains under investigation.

INITIAL REPORT:

Firefighters have responded to an apartment complex on Woolery Lane on a report of a fire this morning.

Crews were on the scene in the 100 block of Woolery around 10:30 a.m., according to dispatch records.
