9 arrested in 3 traffic stops; suspects on way home from marijuana convention

Nine people were arrested during three separate traffic stops this weekend on Interstate 75 and all are now facing drug charges, records show.

Deputies arrested the people, who investigators said were passing through the area after attending a marijuana convention in Michigan, over the weekend.

The following people are being held in the Miami County Jail on charges, to include possession of marijuana:

  • Joshua Cull
  • Donavin Hudson
  • Justice Durrstein
  • Hailey Glasscock
  • Justin Hacker
  • Derrell Harris
  • Dewayne Napier
  • Dustin Thomas-Bryant
  • Aaron Verse

Deputies said they seized drugs and cash during the traffic stops.

In one of the cases, deputies said they stopped one of the suspects driving 108 mph on the highway.

All nine of the suspects were expected to appear in Miami County Municipal Court Monday morning.
