The sculpting of the benches is sponsored by the Ohio Arts Council and the Vandalia Cultural Arts and Public Art in Vandalia. These benches are the first two of six proposed.
During the opening, eight Midwest Sculpture Initiative (MSI) sculptures will be on display to benefit the arts funds. Any MSI piece is on lease until sold. A portion of each sculpture sold is contributed to the Vandalia Cultural Arts Program.
Finally, the Art Park will get a new addition, called “Kidstagram,” a series of 19 photographs submitted by the public depicting kids in action. The photographs will be displayed on the Treble Clef Trail of the Art Park through April 2018. The Kidstagram series is sponsored by the Ohio Arts Council and the Vandalia Cultural Arts Program.
