Beavercreek officer involved in crash 20+ year veteran

A Beavercreek police officer involved in a crash Friday at Grange Hall and Dayton Xenia roads while responding to assist another officer in a traffic stop has been with the department since 1996.

Officer Charmaine Hall was in the intersection of Grange Hall and Dayton Xenia when the crash happened Friday afternoon.

Hall was responding to assist another officer who was attempting to stop a vehicle where the driver had attempted to use a stolen debit card and stolen ID at Fifth Third Bank, police said.

While responding, Hall was struck by a driver in a white SUV and medics were requested to the scene.

Police have not said who was at fault for the crash, however cruiser camera footage shows Hall sounded sirens multiple times before entering the intersection.
