Beavercreek pharmacy target of armed robbery

A Beavercreek pharmacy was robbed by a male armed with a knife on Saturday.

The Hometown Pharmacy on Indian Ripple Road was robbed at about 11:30 a.m., Beavercreek police said.

The pharmacist told police a white male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a heavy build, displayed a knife and took Percocet. The robber was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black leather gloves and sunglasses.

The pharmacist said the male drove away in a black GMC Envoy, police said.
