Beavercreek police are investigating after someone broke into the Beavercreek Jewelers on North Fairfield Road.
Officers responded out to the business around 9 a.m. shortly before the store is normally scheduled to open.
Dispatch records indicated that someone was able to get into the business through a wall and a safe was broken into.
The store’s owner told News Center 7 someone cut the cords of the store’s surveillance camera system, so they are working to recover any footage.
The business was expected to remain closed Monday, the owner said.
Anyone with information on the crime can contact Beavercreek Police.
