‘All clear’ given after bomb threat found at Tipp City business

UPDATE @ 10:45 a.m.:

Employees have been allowed to return to work at Proto Plastics in Tipp City after police investigated a bomb threat at the business Tuesday morning.

Officers were first dispatched the business on Park Avenue around 6:30 a.m. after a threatening note was found, Tipp City police detective Sgt. Chris Graham said.

The building was evacuated while the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Bomb Squad responded and searched the building, Graham said.

The search took several hours to clear the building but nothing was found.

No injuries were reported.

Police did not indicate if they have any suspects.

A bomb threat has been reported this morning at Proto Plastics on Park Avenue.

Police were alerted to the threat around 6:30 a.m. after a note was found at the business, according to records.

The Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Bomb Squad is responding to the scene and the building has been evacuated.
