Bond set at $1.2M for Piqua man jailed on multiple rape charges involving a child

A 75-year-old Piqua man remains in the Miami County Jail, with bond set at $1.2 million, on charges accusing him of multiple counts of rape and gross sexual imposition involving a child.

Martin Glenn was in Municipal Court on Friday morning, where he entered pleas of not guilty to six counts of felony rape and six counts of gross sexual imposition.

Piqua police filed the formal charges on Thursday, according to online court records.

Magistrate Gary Zuhl set Glenn’s cash bond at $100,000 on each of the 12 charges, for a total of $1.2 million. Martin could be sentenced to six life terms in prison if he’s convicted as charged, according to the public defender.
