Community Focus Forward meeting Sept. 13

On Sept. 13 from 6:30-8 p.m., Riverside citizens are invited to share concerns or ask questions during a Community Focus Forward meeting at the Forest Ridge Gazebo, 3958 Forest Ridge Blvd. These meetings will be held at relaxed and informal settings around the community. Riverside City Council members and staff members will be available to discuss issues, answer questions and provide city updates.

Completing a ‘”ocus Forward Question Card” prior to or at the beginning of each meeting will help maintain equal opportunity for participation and help to effectively use meeting time. Find the Focus Forward Question Card in the Newsletter, at each meeting, the Riverside Website, www.riverside.oh.us/, or the Administrative Office, 5200 Springfield St.

TROTWOOD

Medical marijuana panel Sept. 12

On Sept. 12 beginning at 6 p.m. in the Trotwood-Madison High School auditorium, 4440 N. Union Road, citizens are invited to join the Trotwood City Council to hear from a panel discussing medical marijuana as it could relate to Trotwood. There is also a survey being conducted to gather citizen’s opinion on the matter. You can find the survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/Trowood.

Job fair Sept. 13

On Sept. 13 from 5-8 p.m. the Trotwood Chamber of Commerce is presenting the Expo Job Fair, at the Trotwood Madison High School Common Area.

Breast Cancer 5K Sept. 30

On Sept. 30 Brookville will be holding its 8th annual Breast Cancer 5K to benefit the Pink Ribbon Girls.

The 5K begins at Brookville High School with registration from 7:30-9 a.m. and the race starting at 9:05 a.m. The registration fee is $25 and includes a race t-shirt if registered before Sept. 7.

Make checks payable to Pink Ribbon Girls and mail completed registration to Gale Colston 205 N. Wolfcreek St. Brookville, OH 45309. For more information call 937-833-5457.

DAYTON

Reggae Festival Sept. 3

On Sept. 3 from 1-8 p.m. come out to Riverscape MetroPark, 237 E. Monument Ave. for the Reggae Festival.

There will be food and merchandise vendors on site. Bring a blanket or event seating. No tents, pets, or outside food or beverages are permitted. This is a free event and open to the public.
