Street sweeping is taking place April 20-21. Please refrain from parking on the streets from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., on these days. Vehicles parked on the street prevent the sweeper from reaching the curb and removing the trash/debris.
WEST CARROLLTON
Road project expected to cause delays
A project to realign and widen Farmersville-West Carrollton Road, between Upper River Road and the CSX Rail line has begun.
Only one lane of travel will be open during the daytime construction. Drivers should expect delays in the area. Both lanes will be open during the evening hours. The project is expected to be completed by late June.

MIAMISBURG
City dedicates improved river access point
The City of Miamisburg recently hosted a ribbon-cutting event to formally open and dedicate an improved river access point near the Linden Avenue Bridge. The improvements to this location are designed to enhance convenience and safety for the public to encourage use of the river for recreation. Utilizing the river in this fashion is part of the city’s master plan that is guiding downtown revitalization. The access point was named Case Landing in honor of former City Council member Charlie Case, who was a major driver of this project while in office.
LEBANON
City seeks assistant engineer
The City of Lebanon is accepting applications for the position of Assistant City Engineer. In order to be considered for this position, applicants must have a minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience as a civil engineer in either the public or private sector; possess a State of Ohio Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Certification or a Professional Engineer (PE) License. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS is also desired. This position will be responsible aiding in the design of capital improvement plans including roadway, traffic, storm sewer, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection and treatment, preparation of project specifications, and project management/inspection for improvement projects.
The starting salary range for this position is $58,146 to $85,824. The city offers excellent benefits including participation in the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System.
