In April, brothers Cory and Kerry Weaver moved Life in Letters/Full Frame Photography from The Greene to a historic downtown Bellbrook building located at 7 East Franklin Street.

The two Bellbrook High School graduates jumped at the opportunity to move the business to their hometown.

“We love the character of the space with its exposed brick walls and all of the natural light,” said Cory Weaver, of the 1800s two-story building. “There’s a lot of history here too. It’s been a post office and an ice cream parlor over the years. We’re also excited to be part of the growth that we’re seeing in downtown Bellbrook.”

What the business does: Life in Letters/Full Frame Photography sells made-to-order letter photography for clients looking for unique gifts. Customers select photos featuring letters found in natural settings, such as the curve of a bench that resembles the letter "m." A combination of these letter photos is used to make a framed word.

In addition to the letter photography, the shop also features custom framing, canvas painting and photography services. With the move to the new Bellbrook location, the shop is offering expanded photography services including comprehensive wedding photos, senior class photos, baby photos, family photos and commercial photography for businesses.

What makes the business stand out: The Weavers have put in place a quality control process that involves systematic double checking of completed products and a follow-up procedure to ensure that customers are satisfied.

“We listen to what our customers want and customize products so that they come to us as clients and leave as friends,” said Kerry Weaver, a craftsman, who enjoys building frames and working behind-the-scenes.

How the business started: The business was started by Cory Weaver in 2008. Using his photography skills and a vision for capturing letters in nature with a camera, Weaver created artwork that he initially sold at art festivals and shows and then later in his Life in Letters store. Older brother, Kerry Weaver, joined him in the business in both an administrative capacity and as a craftsman, framing the unique photos of letters.

Customer comment: "The quality and attention to detail is exceptional, including their custom framing and photography," said customer Betty Somers.
