"We love the Flyers," said Nick Giallombardo.
UD basketball fans have always been among his most loyal customers and many season-ticket holders stop by the restaurant before and after the game, he said.
The Flyers' success in the NCAA tournament has boosted Geez business even more, especially for watch parties.
"Reservations, I don't usually take, but I had to, just to cater to my normal people ... the season-ticket holders, mainly," Giallombardo said.
He said both his personal cell phone and the bar's phone were ringing within 30 seconds after UD's win over Syracuse, as people clamored to make a reservation for Thursday.
Business is also booming for John Kelly, the owner of Korporate Kasuals on Brown Street.
"Last night at 6, I put between 400 and 500 T-shirts back in the store, along with 50 to 60 embroidered pieces," Kelly said.
The most popular items have been the Sweet 16 T-shirts, and another shirt inspired by a now famous Dayton Daily News headline.
"Now we have the new one ... THE University of Dayton T-shirt. Everybody loves that one," Kelly said.
