2 injured, 1 taken by CareFlight after Darke Co. crash

UPDATE @ 12:30 p.m. 

One person was transported by CareFlight to an area hospital after a crash at the intersection of North Star Fort Loramie Road and Rhynard-Fink Road in Darke County Tuesday.

Deputies said both drivers suffered injuries, but their conditions were not available. One driver was trapped inside their vehicle and was taken by CareFlight to an area hospital. The other driver was not trapped and was transported by ground ambulance.

The crash remains under investigation, but deputies believe one driver might have ran a stop sign.

FIRST REPORT

At least one CareFlight medical helicopter has been requested to a crash reported at the intersection of North Star Fort Loramie Road and Rhynard-Fink Road in Darke County Tuesday.

The crash was reported at the intersection around 11 a.m. with two-vehicles involved and at least one person trapped, according to scanner traffic.
