Tree service workers with a bucket truck rescued a cat named Chicken from a tall tree Saturday night.

Residents said the cat had been stuck in the tree on Lakeshore Drive for the past seven days and was scared.
One resident expressed her frustration with the difficulty in getting the cat rescued from the tree.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the cat being stuck and called for a local fire department to rescue the animal.
However, firefighters were unable to reach Chicken, so deputies called JT Tree Service, based in Bellefontaine. Normally, it would cost at least $200, but the owner would not take any money after the cat was rescued.
Chicken, who reportedly was mentally disabled as a kitten, is now back on the ground and safe with its owner.
