The project, which the city has budgeted around $136,000, includes the installation of a 200-foot by 15-foot all-weather driving range over a concrete and gravel base.
A new drainage system and decorative walk path is also included in the project.

The range will also feature driving stations with short partitions between golfers, allowing for about 30 golfers on the range at once.
Interim City Manager Jennifer Wilder said the new driving range would allow the golf course to operate longer once the weather turns.
Construction is expected to begin Sept. 1 with a projected completion date of Nov. 30.
