City hosting bike rodeo June 7

The city of Beavercreek is hosting a bike rodeo from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at Shaw Elementary School, 3560 Kemp Road.

Children in kindergarten through sixth grade are invited to bring their bicycles and helmets. A rain date for the event is June 14.

Children will be required to demonstrate five bicycling skills, with prizes awarded in each age division. K&G Bike Center and Dayton Cycle Club volunteers will offer a free safety check for all bicycles. A free helmet provided by Children’s Medical Center will be given to the first 25 participants.
