Jim Van Tine is a father, husband, former teacher and administrator, a friend and a golfer. He didn't expect his favorite hobby to almost turn deadly 34 years ago, but it did, and thankfully he lived to talk about it with Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini and McCall Vrydaghs.

Buchanan and a friend originally tried pottery, but found few options close to home.
