Community group presents musical

Beavercreek Community Theatre’s Edge of the Creek Productions is presenting “Carrie the Musical” an adaptation of Stephen King’s ultimate revenge-of-the-nerd novel, “Carrie.”

Carrie is the story of an awkward teenage girl with telekinetic powers whose lonely life is dominated by an oppressive, religious fanatic mother. After being humiliated by her classmates at the high school prom, she wreaks havoc on everyone and everything in her path.

The show is directed by Chris Harmon and will be presented March 7 through March 16 with 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday performances and 3 p.m. matinees.

Tickets are $13 for adults and $11 for students, BCT members and seniors, ages 55 and older

Tickets can be reserved by calling 937-429-4737 and leaving a message or by emailing boxoffice@bctheatre.org. For more information, visit the theater’s Web site at www.bctheatre.org, where the tickets can be purchased online with a credit card.
