The woman, whose name was not released, became ill around March 21 and was hospitalized March 24 before her death on March 26. She was tested for COVID-19, but the positive results were not reported until Monday to Greene County Public Health, according to a news release.
The Ohio Department of Health reported 39 deaths statewide, but that figure does include the Cedarville woman, the release stated.

There are three other positive COVID-19 cases in the county, all involving Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
