Crash knocks down utility pole, blocks Wagner Ford Road

Deputies have blocked Wagner Ford Road in Harrison Twp. following a crash that knocked down a utility pole Tuesday morning.

Fire crews and medics responded to the area of Wagner Ford and Neff roads around 8:30 a.m. on initial reports of a crash with injuries.

The car went off the right side of the road, slammed into the pole, and took out a section of fencing at Willow View Cemetery.

It was unknown if the driver suffered any injuries or was transported to an area hospital. 

A salt truck was requested to the scene but deputies did not say if the crash was weather-related. 

No outages were reported as a result of the crash, according to a DP&L online outage map. 

It was not known when Wagner Ford Road might reopen.
