Firefighters have responded to reports of a house fire on Lexington Salem Road north of West Alexandria in Preble County Saturday afternoon, according to initial reports.

Crews were dispatched to the house in the 5100 block of Lexington-Salem Road around 2:50 p.m. and reported heavy smoke pouring from the house, emergency scanner traffic indicates.
