UPDATE @ 8:05 p.m.: At least one person has been taken to a hospital from the house fire.

A fire official has declared the 2 ½-story house a total loss.

Investigators are on scene, working to determine the cause of the fire.

INITIAL REPORT

Crews are battling a house fire in the 300 block of North 10th Street that included initial word that someone may be trapped on the second floor.

We’re hearing that an initial search of the second floor has turned up no victims.

Firefighters were dispatched about 5:49 p.m. on a report of a possible structure fire.

Traffic has been blocked at Buckeye and 10th streets.

We have a crew on the way. We will update this developing report as we get information.
