Flames destroyed one garage and damaged the other Tuesday night in the 200 block of South Hedges Street.
Crews were dispatched about 10:37 p.m. on the report of a fire. Crews asked for an investigator not long after they arrived.
No one was injured. The fire official estimated damage at $20,000 to both structures and the vehicle, which was described as old and looked as though it hadn't been used in a while.
The fire official said both addresses were believed to be vacant.
