Dayton man learns fate for child porn-related conviction

A Dayton man initially charged with more than 30 charges connected to child pornography pleaded guilty to lesser charges and learned he will spend time in prison Monday.

David Fugett, 34, was sentenced to three years in prison and also will be required to register as a Tier II sex offender every 180 days for 25 years, according to court officials.

Fugett was convicted on 10 counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor.

Fugett shared the child pornography from a computer authorities seized from his Grafton Avenue apartment in 2017, according to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.
