The shooting victim, a 19-year-old Dayton man, was brought to the hospital around 11:15 a.m. by a 21-year-old Dayton man driving a Chrysler Town and Country minivan, according to a Dayton police report.

He remains at the hospital, but his condition is not available.
The driver told police he was taking a shower when the victim showed up at his West First Street home to get a ride to the hospital.

Dayton police are at Miami Valley Hospital after a report a shooting victim was dropped off at the hospital, according to initial emergency dispatch traffic.
Officers requested a report for a shooting to be generated after someone brought someone to the hospital, according to reports.
The incident was reported around 11:15 a.m.
