Dayton schools plan 25th Golf Scholarship Classic for June 3

Dayton Public Schools is seeking both sponsors and golfers for its 25th annual Golf Scholarship Classic, to be held Monday, June 3 at Madden Golf Course.

The event raises college and vocational scholarship funds for Dayton Public Schools students, with $145,000 given away in the past 24 years. About 10-15 scholarships are awarded each year, with a scholarship ceremony held during the event.

The golf event’s 18-hole “best-ball scramble” format is limited to 120 participants. Player registration is $600 per foursome or $175 per individual. Sponsorship options are listed at http://bit.ly/dpsgolf and registration forms must be submitted by April 8.
