Deputies investigating death of 7-month-old found not breathing in Bethel Twp.

Deputies and Bethel Twp. fire crews responded to the 6200 block of US 40 around 8:24 a.m. Thursday, according to a log from the sheriff’s office.

The baby was pronounced dead by paramedics.

Detectives are investigating the girl’s death, which is standard practice for the circumstances, according to the sheriff’s office.

Miami County Coroner Dr. Bill Ginn is working to determine the cause of death, but said the death is believed to be accidental at this time.
