June 19
4 to 8 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 415 N. Main St., Springboro.
June 20
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Miami University Shriver Center, 701 E. Spring St., Oxford.
June 21
8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at City of Hamilton, 345 High St. Suite 330, Hamilton;
3 to 7 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 212 S. Front St., Hamilton.
June 23
9 a.m. to noon at the East Butler County YMCA, 6645 Morris Road, Fairfield Twp.
Community Blood Center is launching its “iFocus on Saving Lives” summer blood drive campaign, in which donors will get a chance to win a red 2012 Ford Focus.
The goal of the “iFocus on Saving Lives” campaign is to encourage donors to stay focused on the importance of giving blood during the summer months, when donations tend to drop while the local need for blood increases. Everyone age 18 or older who registers to donate at any CBC branch or mobile blood drive now through Sept. 1 will be automatically entered in the drawing to win the car.
The Ford Focus giveaway follows last summer’s drawing for a new Jeep Patriot.
“Our donors keep telling us they love our summer car giveaway campaign,” said CBC Donor Relations Director Andrew Keelor. “We value the commitment they make to donating during the busy summer months, and the Focus is a great way to say thank you. This car is a great combination of style and value, plus it’s the perfect color – race red.”
