HAMILTON — The third official Great Miami Rowing Center Fall Regatta includes high school and university teams.

The competitive 3,800-meter course, called the “Double Dam,” takes place in downtown Hamilton along the river between the two low-level dams on Saturday. The starting line is south of the City Boat Ramp. It runs north to a point south of the Black Street Bridge.

Masters, collegiate, and youth races are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.

According to officials at the rowing center, there are more than 10 high school and university teams registered to compete, with entries from Cleveland, Toledo, Dayton, Columbus, Indianapolis and Cincinnati.

The public is invited to sit and observe the races along the banks of the Miami River. Boats launch from the GMRC dock near the High Street bridge. There will be concessions, food, beverages, T-shirts and posters for sale at the GMRC boat enclosure at 110 N. B St.
