A state-wide, non-profit advocacy group promoting the adoption of advanced fuels vehicle technologies, Clean Fuels Ohio has partnered with the UD Research Institute and Hanley Sustainability Institute to educate the public on the benefits of EV ownership.
“They’re great vehicles. I think a lot of people say if you start driving electric cars you’re not going to go back to gasoline engines,” Hanley Sustainability Research Director Bob Brecha said.
“And we basically know we’re going to have to be switching over to electric vehicles in the future.”

Twelve EV events like the one at UD were planned throughout the state for National Drive Electric Week.
Those in the Miami Valley who couldn’t experience Tuesday’s showcase in Dayton can see more EV options at a similar event at Cincinnati’s Ziegler Park September 15.
